मेरठ । निकाय चुनाव के लिए सीएम योगी ने जनसभा को संबोधित किया। पिछली सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सरकार ने अवैध बूचडखानों को बंद किया। पिछली किसी सरकार में इतनी हिम्मत नहीं थी कि वो इन स्लॉटर हाउस को बंद कर सके। बता दें कि मुजफ्फरनगर के बाद सीएम योगी मेरठ में जनसभा को संबोधित किया।
सभा में पहुंचे भाजपा समर्थकों ने योगी और मोदी जिंदाबाद के जमकर नारे लगाए। उन्होंने पिछली सरकार पर जमकर निशाना साधा। कहा 2007 में बहुजन समाज पार्टी (बसपा) की सरकार आई थी तो उन्होंने जन्माष्टमी पर्व पर रोक लगा दी थी। लोगों की भावनाओं से खिलावाड़ किया था। लेकिन हमारी सरकार ने इससे रोक हटाई और इस वर्ष प्रदेश में बड़े हर्षोउल्लास से जन्माष्टमी पर्व मनाया गया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पूर्व सरकारें अपने चहेतों को ठेके दिया करती थीं जिससे नगर निगमों को नरक बना दिया गया। अब ऐसा नहीं होगा। निगम के बोर्ड में जो पास होगा, वही काम होगा, लखनऊ आने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी के साथ प्रदेश भाजपा अध्यक्ष महेन्द्र नाथ पाण्डेय भी आए। प्रभारी मंत्री सिद्धार्थनाथ सिंह के साथ ही पंचायत राज मंत्री और पश्चिमी क्षेत्र के अध्यक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह, सांसद राजवीर सिंह मेरठ आ चुके थे। मंच पर प्रमुख रूप से सांसद राजेन्द्र अग्रवाल, पूर्व प्रदेश अध्यक्ष डा. लक्ष्मीकांत बाजपेई व विधायकगण उपस्थित रहे।
खास बात यह है कि निकाय चुनाव के लिए भाजपा ने पूरी ताकत झोंक दी है। इसका अंदाजा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि भाजपा छोटे से लेकर बड़े (सभी) चुनावों को गंभीरता से ले रही हैं। मंच पर प्रत्याशियों के साथ ही प्रदेश सरकार के मंत्री, सांसद, विधायक, महानगर और जिलाध्यक्ष के साथ वर्तमान महापौर, जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष मौजूद रहे। जबकि इनके अलावा नगर निकाय के प्रदेश संयोजक को भी मंच पर जगह दी गई।
रैली के चलते कड़ी सुरक्षा
सीएम की सभा को देखते हुए पुलिस प्रशासन ने सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए हैं। सीएम की कमांडों टीम पहले ही यहां पहुंच चुकी थी। सुरक्षा को देखते हुए एटीएस की टीम और लखनऊ से स्पेशल कमांडो कल ही मेरठ पहुंच गए थे। सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की जिम्मेदारी के लिए एक एसपी को अलग से जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई। मेरठ में सीएम करीब एक घंटे मौजूद रहे।
सीएम की रैली पर विपक्ष की नजर
बीजेपी के अलावा अभी तक दूसरे किसी दल के बड़े नेता की जनसभा अभी यहां नहीं हुई है। कांग्रेस ने नगमा के नेतृत्व में रोड शो करने की तैयारी जरूर की हुई है। माना जा रहा है कि सीएम की रैली के बाद सपा, बीएसपी और कांग्रेस अपने स्टार प्रचारकों को यहां बुलाएगी।
